Customer Insights Manager manages customer/consumer insight development, market research projects, and data analysis. Synthesizes the results of the projects into a deep understanding of customers and the market, and uses that knowledge to support product development, category management, and marketing initiatives. Being a Customer Insights Manager utilizes various methods including focus groups, surveys, competitor and industry research, to produce useful customer insight data and make recommendations to stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Customer Insights Manager typically reports to a director. The Customer Insights Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Insights Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Bobcat of Michiana is currently seeking a Customer Service Manager at our Elkhart, IN facility. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the Service & Rental departments.

    This is a Monday through Friday schedule with no evenings or weekends.

    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Oversee the service department including the shop, road service operations, rental department, and transportation.
    • Coordinate activities within the departments and ensure that the service and rental teams perform the necessary functions to achieve and maintain the company's customer satisfaction objectives.
    • Provide quality leadership, grow service and rental department's revenues, and maintain profitability.
    • Proactively contact customers, who have sent equipment to our facility for repair, with status updates on a regular basis until the equipment is repaired and returned to the customer.

    No customer should have to call to find out the status of their repair or estimate.

    • Ensure timely delivery of service and rental estimates to customers and explanation of proposed services.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment with a strong working knowledge of the company's and customer's safety rules and regulations.
    • Maintain discipline and efficiency in scheduling technicians and managing their productivity.
    • Review and assure accuracy and timeliness of invoicing.
    • Full range of personnel responsibilities including; hiring, promoting, discipline, and conflict resolution.

    Qualifications :

    • Minimum five years of experience in a similar service industry, preferably on the operations, technical or mechanical side.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite and Microsoft business systems.
    • Ability to learn and become proficient with the company's business computer operating system.
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to contact customers personally and present themself in a professional manor as a proactive manager.
    • Effectively plan, prioritize, understand, and perform time management skills.
    • Ability to identify, track and strategize key performance indicators in the marketplace.
    • Working knowledge of LEAN business principles and practices.
    • Clean driving record as travel to customer locations is required as needed.
    • Must be an effective communicator verbal, written and listening skills.
    • Team player with all departments, branches, and employees.
    • Gives clear and unambiguous directions.
    • Follows directions given.
    • Quick learner adapts to new situations quickly.
    • Well organized and efficient in managing time and workload.
    • Possess confidence, experience, and skills to support organizational activities.
    • Present themselves in a professional manner.
