Customer Insights Analyst analyzes customer and consumer data and research to identify trends, key indicators, patterns, and insights. Assists in developing and conducting focus groups, surveys, competitor intelligence studies, and industry research to support product development, category/brand management and marketing or sales initiatives. Being a Customer Insights Analyst uses market research and statistical methodologies and tools to perform analysis. Performs data collection, input, and aggregation processes to develop and maintain research databases. Additionally, Customer Insights Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Customer Insights Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Your responsibilities:

    • Deliver Customer Insights: Collaborate closely with the customer success team to analyze product usage data, deriving actionable insights that directly contribute to enhancing customer retention, improving engagement, and informing product development strategies.
    • Support Customer Success Team: Develop, maintain, and monitor key customer health metrics. Partner with customer success managers to design and implement targeted interventions for at-risk clients, aiming to optimize client outcomes and prevent churn.

    Your skills and experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as data analyst, product analyst, BI analyst, or management consultant, with a demonstrated ability to apply analytics in solving complex business problems.
    • Demonstrated mastery of SQL (Snowflake preferred) for complex data analysis, with the ability to optimize query performance and deliver actionable insights.
    • Proficient in using business intelligence tools like Looker and LookML. Ability to create data visuals that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of managing multiple projects with diverse teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for presenting complex information clearly and influencing decision-making processes.

    A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.  The current range for this role is $100K - $130K  equity. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
