Customer Insights Analyst analyzes customer and consumer data and research to identify trends, key indicators, patterns, and insights. Assists in developing and conducting focus groups, surveys, competitor intelligence studies, and industry research to support product development, category/brand management and marketing or sales initiatives. Being a Customer Insights Analyst uses market research and statistical methodologies and tools to perform analysis. Performs data collection, input, and aggregation processes to develop and maintain research databases. Additionally, Customer Insights Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Customer Insights Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Market Insight Analyst will be responsible for using their skills to conduct comprehensive secondary research, provide actionable insights, inform business partner roadmaps and influence priorities. The successful candidate should have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving skills. The Expertise & Skills You Bring Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred. 7 years of market research, strategy and planning, consulting, and/ or relevant project and program management experience. Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to understand key trends across technology, both within and outside of Fidelity, and apply findings locally. Strong ability and consistent track record of leading, influencing, building consensus, and motivating leaders and colleagues across Fidelity without formal authority. Energized by working collaboratively with good interpersonal, relationship management, and research skills. Ability to balance multiple efforts independently and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity. A continuous improvement mentality, looking for opportunities to innovate and inspire an agile way of working. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Lead the development and management of market research and consulting engagements related to strategy development, evaluation of new digital capabilities, and business transformation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize user needs, industry trends and behavioral data, and translate them into actionable insights and recommendations. Serve as a domain expert responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the technology and industry landscape, especially as it relates to what’s on the horizon. Provide thought leadership to the team and firm in terms of using new technologies to improve business outcomes and delight our associates. Socialize research findings and insights across the organization highlighting topics or key focus areas that will be important to Fidelity, its businesses, customers, and associates. Build our presence in the broader community of practice to provide an outside-in perspective and develop key peer and partner relationships. Mentor and guide members of the domain on market research and consulting best practices. Continuously learn and stay up to date on industry trends and technology innovations.
