Performs data collection, input, and aggregation processes to develop and maintain research databases. Additionally, Customer Insights Analyst requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Customer Insights Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Reporting to the Travel Insured International VP of Strategic Initiatives, this role is responsible for developing and directing the Customer Insights Department to meet Travel Insured International’s strategic and operational goals.  The primary objective of the Consumer Insights Manager is to gather and share consumer insights that can be used to inform and support decision making related to product design, marketing design and distribution channel management, and operational processes impacting the consumer experience.

     

    Supporting the VP of Strategic Initiatives in strategic planning and in the influence, alignment and support of the executive team and other key stakeholders on prioritized areas that are imperative to strategy attainment and achieving business goals.

    Job Description

    What you will do:

    • Establish a charter, infrastructure and artifacts in support of creating a comprehensive Consumer Insights Program
    • Develop and execute game plans for collecting, understanding, interpreting and sharing customer and partner data in alignment with TII strategic objectives
    • Establish key TII Customer Insight objectives, including but not limited to improvement of product design, enhancement of service, expansion of strategic partnerships, refinement of customer experience and positively impact marketing efforts
    • Create a Customer Journey map for all internal and external customer segments to identify key touchpoints for obtaining and incorporating feedback into future processes
    • Identifying ideal methodology and providing oversight on the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure all available information is generated to support business needs
    • Leverage research data and information to proactively identify business opportunities and gain internal support to act upon these opportunities
    • Convey analysis and recommendations via presentations and written reports
    • Implement feedback mechanisms across all key touch points, along with associated data collection, analysis and action planning
    • Identify and coordinate with key TII stakeholders to achieve objectives
    • Facilitate open communication among team members and stakeholders; foster a collaborative environment
    • Identify and articulate resource requirements to achieve objective, including software, hardware, new hires, etc.
    • Increase ability to determine trends in advance of the market and execute on delivering new and relevant products to generate greater impressions, quotes and sales
    • Drive customer satisfaction and increased NPS and CSAT scores across business
    • Remove impediments and resolve conflict
    • Lead the application of Customer Insights practices across the TII business

    • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
    • Ability to travel to Glastonbury CT office for periodic team meetings, employee activities, etc. is required
    • Experienced in managing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research is required
    • Strong knowledge of business visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau is required

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $78,800.00 to a maximum of $131,300.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
