Customer Information Center Supervisor supervises a team that is responsible for analyzing contact center patterns, including volumes, trends, attrition rates, and contact center representative productivities. Configures the Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system to automatically distribute calls uniformly among representatives. Being a Customer Information Center Supervisor monitors the productivity of customer service representatives. Ensures customer satisfaction by overseeing the call volume and redirecting inbound traffic as needed. Additionally, Customer Information Center Supervisor reviews call volume reports to coordinate and complete capacity planning within the contact center and identify potential problems. Evaluates historical and recent performance and statistics to identify trends. May act as a resource for more complex questions. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Customer Information Center Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Information Center Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.   • Position Title: Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

    Position Tasks & Activities:

    • Coordinate with General Manager and Dispatcher/Delivery Coordinator on delivery and pick up schedule and monitor manpower requirements.
    • Schedule daily delegation of workload.
    • Maintain inventory control of warehouse and update counter personnel on inventory daily.
    • Assure that vehicles are maintained in a safe condition for operation.
    • Supervise duties and activities of the warehouse and delivery personnel and observe day-to-day operations and special projects. Assist staff with various problems throughout the day.
    • Assist sales staff when complaints and emergencies arise by investigating and solving the problems of equipment.
    • Supervise and execute the periodic cleaning, repair and refinishing of equipment.
    • Meet with other members of management to discuss policies and problems, and make recommendations.
    • Stay informed of equipment failures and safety violations.
    • Report safety violations to General Manager and Owner.
    • Maintain warranty records and equipment turnover records.
    • Regulate warehouse manuals, catalogs, bulletins and established safety and health policies and procedures.
    • Obtain information from drivers about equipment that is missing or broken upon pick up. Verify that drivers have filled out the appropriate forms and obtained customer's signature. Collect forms at the end of the shift or day.
    • Verify counts from driver's pick-up tickets prior to unloading.
    • Receive all forms and funds collected by drivers from COD orders. Verify driver has completed the paperwork according to company procedure. (Seldom if ever will happen)
    • Turn in all forms and money collected to the Dispatcher.
    • Train drivers in effective delivery requirements, forklift operation and safe driving practices.
    • Train staff on the proper loading and unloading procedures. See that the procedures are being followed.
    • Train staff on the proper cleaning procedures and oversee follow-through.
    • Train staff on the "Ready to Rent" procedures and oversee proper usage.
    • Fill in for other positions, when necessary, for smooth operation of the business.
    • Network with other industry professionals.
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form.
    • Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations and security in store.
    • Represent department at management meeting.
    • Conduct department, store and safety meetings upon requested.
    • Attend department, store and safety meetings.
    • Perform other duties as requested.

    Nature of the Work:

    Oversee and assist warehouse and delivery personnel to ensure proper distribution and return of equipment promptly and safely. Must be able to train and direct activities of subordinates. The work is typically very physical and demanding, both from strength requirements and the stamina required. May help load and unload delivery vehicles during busy season. From time to time, will help maintain inventory. Shipping and receiving functions, from light to heavy, are also performed. Janitorial responsibilities, both inside and outside the premises, are also involved.

    Working Conditions:

    Must stand for long periods of time. Most work will be indoors with general warehouse conditions, in which some work areas may not be heated or air conditioned. This job requires constant interaction with co-workers and with the public. This position requires frequent lifting and a significant degree of walking, bending and transporting objects of various weights and dimensions. May have exposure to chemicals, including but not limited to gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene and cleaning solvents. Propane is an obvious hazard; hence a sense of smell is required.

    Education, Skills & Requirements:

    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
    • Prior warehouse or delivery experience a must.
    • Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs.
    • Must maintain a professional personal appearance.
    • Must possess customer relation skills.
    • Must maintain a valid driver's license.
    • Must be able to use mathematics to solve problems.
    • Computer knowledge is preferred. Training on rental software will be provided.
    • Must be able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak other languages is a plus.
    • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
    • Must have a full range of motion and dexterity.
    • Must be able to provide, understand and complete instructions furnished in written, oral or scheduled form.
    • Maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers.
    • Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary.
