Customer Information Center Manager manages a team that is responsible for analyzing contact center patterns, including volumes, trends, attrition rates, and contact center representative productivities. Oversees the configuration of the Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) system to automatically distribute calls uniformly among representatives. Being a Customer Information Center Manager monitors the productivity of customer service representatives. Ensures customer satisfaction by overseeing the call volume and redirecting inbound traffic as needed. Additionally, Customer Information Center Manager reviews call volume reports to coordinate and complete capacity planning within the contact center and identify potential problems. Evaluates historical and recent performance and statistics to identify trends. May act as a resource for more complex questions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Customer Information Center Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Customer Information Center Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Provides technical assistance to computer system users.
    • Solves technical problems dealing including PC, printers, networking, and desktop applications.
    • Attends and actively participates in technical meetings.
    • Responds to customer calls and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner. Escalates calls appropriately and work with other technical resources to ensure customer issues and concerns are addressed.
    • Use standard tools, knowledge, and experience to analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical problems.
    • Attends and completes educational sessions, both mandatory and elective.
    • Provides technical training to the end users.
    • Maintains existing support documentation as needed.
    • Completes assigned goals.

    Physical Demands/Conditions:

    • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
    • Must have good balance and coordination.
    • The physical requirements of this position are: light work - exerting up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently.
    • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
    • The conditions to which the Technician will be subject in this position: The Technician is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; job functions are typically performed under conditions such as those found in general office or administrative work.
