The Wolf’s Tailor is seeking a General Manager.

The Wolf’s Tailor, part of Id Est Hospitality, is an acclaimed Denver restaurant with several Michelin accolades, including a One Star, Green Star, and Bar Recognition Award in 2023, as well as being named in the Top Ten by Bon Appetit in 2019. We specialize in an intimate omakasestyle dining experience, emphasizing sustainability, regenerative agriculture, and innovative thinking.

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, financial administration, and overall hospitality. Reporting to Id Est leadership, this role will manage all aspects of employee relations and business strategy at The Wolf’s Tailor.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations to ensure alignment with financial and operational goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all financial and general administrative tasks.
• Implement strategic changes to meet COGs goals and report profit and loss statements.
• Respond promptly to leadership inquiries and feedback.
• Maintain all systems in our tech stack and oversee restaurant maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
• Oversee recruitment, interviews, and hiring, as well as employee training, direction, feedback, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide ongoing hospitality training and education for staff.
• Foster positive guest relations.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of GM experience in a highcaliber restaurant with detailoriented service.
• Experience managing a team of 1520 employees, with strong team management and delegation skills.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel.
• Experience analyzing and reporting on restaurant financials to leadership.
• Ability to deliver timely, accurate work and respond to leadership feedback.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work a typical restaurant schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
