Director of Curriculum Implementation

Objective:  The Director of Curriculum Implementation is directly responsible of K-12 curriculum standards and frameworks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

1. Develop and oversee the implementation of K-12 curriculum standards and frameworks.
2. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and Associate Superintendent to ensure alignment of curriculum with educational goals and standards.
3. Provide professional development and training for teachers and administrators on curriculum content, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.
4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum implementation through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
5. Participate in the process of the selection and adoption of instructional materials, resources, and technology tools.
6. Stay informed about educational trends, research, and best practices to inform curriculum decisions and improvements.
7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in curriculum design and delivery.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents and community members, to support student learning and achievement.
9. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to curriculum and instruction.
10. Manage budgetary resources allocated for curriculum development and implementation initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. Extensive experience in curriculum development and implementation, preferably in an educational institution or organization.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and projects.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders including teachers, administrators, and Associate Superintendent.
4. Knowledge of educational standards and best practices in curriculum design and assessment.
5. Proficiency in data analysis and assessment to evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum implementation.
6. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for curriculum implementation that align with organizational goals.
7. Experience with instructional technology and digital resources to enhance curriculum delivery.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
9. Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing educational trends and requirements.
