Curriculum Manager manages the design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners. Oversees skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements. Being a Curriculum Manager consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum. Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks. Additionally, Curriculum Manager provides outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs. Participates in the selection of software or collaboration tools used for training. Establishes metrics used to evaluate training effectiveness and analyzes outcomes to determine ROI and recommend changes to programs. May select and manage vendors that provide training materials or conduct training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Curriculum Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Curriculum Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     QUALIFICATIONS

    Minimum Required Education

    • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology or other closely associated Behavioral Sciences

    Minimum Required Experience

    • 4 years of experience teaching Advanced Placement Psychology in a high school
    • 3 years of experience developing high-yield materials for the AP Psychology curriculum

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Extensive knowledge of the AP Psychology course and exam description
    • Proven ability to develop high-quality AP Psychology curriculum materials
    • Ability to communicate with high school student base about AP Psychology concepts and UWorld AP Psychology products
    • Acute attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
    • Outstanding problem-solving skills with proven capacity to execute conceptual ideas into finished products
    • Aptitude for adapting quickly and collaborating effectively
    • Ability to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positively
    • Solid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and a working knowledge of information technology (IT)

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Reports to the Product Manager, develops educational and curriculum materials for AP Psychology products

    Content Production & Student Interaction

    • Responsible for independent development of AP Psychology educational materials based on directives and guidance from management
    • Generates content that reflects existing AP Psychology curriculum standards
    • Receives and effectively adjusts content based on constructive feedback provided by onsite Psychology team and management
    • Collaborates with management and other team members to ensure project goals are met within given deadlines
    • Develops marketing materials and participates in online forums and webinars to aid marketing efforts to increase brand recognition
