Job Summary:
Inver Grove Heights Middle School is looking for a crossing guard to work in the morning and afternoon to help students get to school safely.
Hours are 7:45 am - 8:30 am and 3:15 pm - 3:45 pm. The position is guartanteed a minimum of 2 hours of pay each day. Positon only works student school days (173 days a year).

This positions will work each day from Monday - Friday, 7:45 - 8:30 a.m. and from 3:15 - 3:45 p.m.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Ability to work with students in a firm but positive manner
• Ability to problem solve in a quick, decisive manner
• Ability to interact appropriately with adults.
• Ability to be punctual in reporting to work and for assigned duties

Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties:

• Maintain and follow all established crossing guard procedures
• Maintain a safe environment for all students
• All other duties as assigned by the principal

Pay and Benefits:
The rate of pay for this position is $25.00/hour. No other benefits are available to this part-time position. Paid a minimum of 2 hours per day.
