Scope of Position:
The Lieutenant serves as a Regional Manager and is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations for CSA in accordance with local, state, and federal laws. The Lieutenant manages Sergeants within the region and is a manager for Corporals and officers. Lieutenants implement security policies, procedures and ensure that the environment in their region is safe for employees, clients, and vendors. Lieutenants are required to hire new employees, provide training, review all employee disciplinary actions, make termination recommendations, and delegate tasks as needed. Manage budgets, monitor employee schedules, staffing levels, overtime expenditures, equipment, and uniform needs. Completes Sergeant’s performance evaluation reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:

● Must have knowledge of RLD regulations that pertain to Private Patrol Operators and Security Guards as well as company policies and procedures
● Manage budgets, monitor employee schedules and performance, and oversee staffing levels
● Working knowledge of eHub, Silvertrac, and Paylocity programs
● Conduct risk assessments for sites of current and prospective clients
● Properly execute policies described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Employee Handbook
● Provide training to new Sergeants and monitor work performance during the evaluation period
● Maintain a regular and consistent attendance record
● Responsible for uniform needs, equipment (e.g. fleet vehicles), cellular phones and overtime expenditures
● Complete performance evaluation reports for Sergeants
● Acts as a chair for interview panels, conduct employee orientation, and train employees
● Attend and satisfactorily complete all required trainings assigned/required
● Recognize outstanding actions, review disciplinary actions, address complaints, and resolve issues
● Conduct investigations and gather necessary information in a timely matter
● Maintain and foster a positive and professional rapport with clients and employees
● Effectively interact and communicate with local law enforcement agencies when needed
● Respond to urgent matters, emergencies, and/or client needs on a 24/7 status
● Maintain a clean and professional appearance
● May be tasked with other duties not listed
Required Skills:
● 5 years of supervisory/management experience required - prior law enforcement or military experience preferred
● Knowledge of security environments, hazards, and protocols
● Excellent interpersonal and leadership
● Exceptional professional acumen
● Familiar with MS Office applications and computer technologies
● Solid work ethic with a high level of integrity
● Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of management both verbally and written
● Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
