Career Opportunity:

Silgan Dispensing Systems is searching for a Credit and Collections Manager for our North America region to join our team in our division headquarters in Richmond, Virginia. We are looking for a proactive person with strong problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.

How You Will Impact Silgan Dispensing Systems:

• Establish and approve customer payment terms and credit lines for new and existing customers in accordance with company policies
• Oversee and approve new customer setups and changes to customer accounts
• Coordinate collections process in partnership with Commercial team
• Responsible for the weekly/daily release or hold of all orders and shipments
• Prepare reporting on accounts receivable aging, days sales outstanding and past due balances
• Maintain relationship with cash application and billing teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Supervise Credit & Collections Analyst

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor's degree in business
• 5 years related experience
• Credit decision experience in the business-to-business environment. Ability to analyze and interpret financial and credit related data
• Advanced proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel and related financial systems. Experience with JD Edwards a plus
