Credit and Collections Manager develops and administers credit and collection programs. Oversees investigation of credit risk in customers and suppliers and advises on course of action for credit applications. Being a Credit and Collections Manager designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Monitors and negotiates the collection of overdue accounts. Additionally, Credit and Collections Manager monitors credit and collection processes and operations; makes recommendations on opportunities for improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Credit and Collections Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. EMSL is seeking a Credit and Collections Representative in Cinnaminson, NJ. Ideal candidate must have three years business to business collections experience. This position will be on-site and based out of the following locations: Cinnaminson NJ, Phoenix AZ, Indianapolis IN, and Tampa FL.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performing business to business collection by contacting delinquent customer accounts
Maintaining customer files
Researching billing and payment discrepancies
Assist with setting up payment schedules as needed per Manager's approval
Provide customers with reports, invoices and statements when requested
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three years’ experience in business to business collections is required
Must have good customer service skills
Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere
Must be organized, self-motivated, and have the ability to work independently
Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Word experience
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within credit collections is required
Possess good verbal and written communication and problem solving skills
Available Shift:
Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Training Schedule to start will be Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
