Our Confidential Client in the Moorestown, NJ area is looking for a Commercial Credit Risk Analyst for a Hybrid role that only requires 2 days at the office. Our Client is a successful, international company with over 1,000 employees.
Position Overview:
- Position Type: Permanent / FT / Salaried
- Location: Moorestown, NJ area
- Schedule: Hybrid role with the option of working from home 3 days per week. Work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs
Primary Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Develops, collaborates, and maintains relationships with other Risk Analysts, inside/ outside sales representatives, and end users.
- Communicates with several departments (i.e. sales, documentation, and collections/portfolio management departments) to resolve risk management issues within appropriate guidelines.
- Provides commercial credit decisions within their assigned authority, while also including recommendations from Junior Analysts
- Makes recommendations on transactions that are in excess of their assigned signing authority.
- Assists in securing business by negotiating complex credit terms that do not compromise commercial credit standards.
- Address distributor and end-customer concerns in a timely manner without compromising commercial credit standards.
- Will monitor established commercial credit lines and provides credit line renewals, as well as reviewing/approving any changes to contract terms and conditions within their assigned signing authority in a timely manner.
- Structures and appropriately documents credit approvals consistent with risk management guidelines.
Minimum Required Position Specific Experience includes but is not limited to the following
- 4 years of Commercial Credit Analysis for B2B Equipment Leasing and or Commercial Lending transactions experience is required.
- Vendor Risk Management experience preferred.
- Commercial Credit Training Program Experience required.
Minimum Required General Experience includes but is not limited to the following
- Hands-on experience with Risk Analysis software & tools (i.e., D&B, Experian, Trans Union, Equifax, Moody’s, S&P, Fitch, A.M. Best, NAIC, SEC and FDIC filings, etc.).
- Must have strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and creative thinking skills, with a thorough understanding of automated credit scoring and risk rating analytics.
- 4 years of experience with extracting financial data from corporate financial statements and analyzing them within financial analysis software and or spreadsheets.
