Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, VISA credit and gift card transactions, loan payments and transfers amounts from member accounts as requested.
Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning products and services, answers account inquires and directs members to appropriate staff/department for additional information.
Posts and maintains transactions on computer system for member accounts and maintains member records; uses various systems for IRA's, ATM, debit, credit, and gift cards, online banking, bill-pay etc.
Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
Answers routine correspondence such as phone calls, e-mails, and faxes from members in an efficient manner.
Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks as needed, including but not limited to filing, scanning, copying, faxing, shredding, wire requests, and working various reports.
Back up member service representatives as needed.
Understands Member Due Diligence, OFAC, and CIP procedures and completes required training.
Opens, closes, and maintains various accounts including business, IRA, trust, POA, Coverdell, money market, certificates of deposit, etc.; processes death claims.
Processes dispute and fraud claims, ACH originations and terminations, stop payment requests, and creates, deletes, and maintains EFTs.
Administers basic deposit account functions such as ordering checks, ATM cards, and debit cards as well as verifying and updating contact information; processes mail and night deposits under dual control.
