General Responsibilities
The Credit Recovery Program is designed for students who have recently failed Carnegie unit courses. The program is designed for the student who has failed the course and needs to repeat the course. This position involves coordination and administrative duties related to the PLATO LEARNING PROGRAM including the management of student data, program delivery and credit recovery.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of RCPS curriculum and techniques for integrating curriculum, RCPS policies, and effective instructional practices; thorough understanding of the teaching and learning process; ability to provide instruction that reflects multiple perspectives and multicultural education; ability to infuse technology into curriculum; ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office, school based staff, students, parents, and community; excellent oral and written communication and human relations skills; solid technology skills related to software/hardware for a classroom learning lab environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in applicable field of education from an accredited college or university. Prefer possession of or eligibility for a teacher license from the Virginia Department of Education. A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
