Specific to Greene County Employment: The Greene County Circuit Clerk's Office is now accepting applications for available Court Clerk positions. Court Clerk positions within the 31st Judicial Circuit and within the Circuit Clerk’s Office are employed through the State of Missouri and include all the state benefits that are outlined in the benefits section above. Applicants who are hired will be assigned clerical duties within a specified area of the court and placed into one of the following departments: Criminal, Finance, Civil, or Domestic. The primary duties center on case processing and involve frequent interactions with the public, court personnel, attorneys and/or law enforcement agencies. To successfully perform the duties of a Court Clerk, applicants must have attention to detail, a high degree of efficiency in data entry, and excellent customer service. In addition, all applicants must have the capability to multi-task between a variety of duties and be willing to assist in the courtrooms at various times. Financial assignments and responsibilities of receiving, disbursing, and balancing of monetary funds may apply. Thorough hands-on training is provided to all new hires and is continued throughout employment.
