- Job Summary:Robert Half Finance & Accounting Contract Talent is collaborating with an organization to find a Credit and Accounts Receivable Analyst. This role is crucial for managing credit processes, analyzing creditworthiness, and ensuring effective accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate must have experience with D& B, demonstrate the ability to make informed credit decisions, and possess a strong understanding of financial reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:Utilize experience with D& B to analyze creditworthiness and make well-informed credit decisions.Post cash receipts accurately and proactively follow up on collections.Release credit holds promptly to maintain positive customer relationships.Reconcile Accounts Receivable aging to the Trial Balance for accurate financial reporting.Interpret D& B reports when reviewing credit limits and adjust as needed.Potentially prepare journal entries, including those for the allowance for bad debts, during month-end closing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline credit and AR processes.Qualifications:Proven experience with D& B and credit analysis.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make credit decisions effectively.Proficient in reconciling AR aging to the Trial Balance.Familiarity with interpreting D& B reports for reviewing credit limits.Experience in posting cash receipts, collections follow-up, and releasing credit holds.Knowledge of preparing journal entries, particularly for the allowance for bad debts.To apply for this role or learn more about it, please contact us directly at (314) 262-4344.
