Creative Designer

Commonwealth Charter Academy (CCA), a cutting-edge cyber public K-12 school in the State of PA, is seeking a professional Creative Designer to work from our Harrisburg/Capital Campus Family Service Center in order to translate the school’s needs and branding strategies into design elements for video, photo, and graphics. The ideal candidate will have experience in video production, photography, and visual design as well as working and collaborating with a team to bring concepts and ideas to fruition.

The Creative Designer will work closely with the entire Outreach team in collaborating on the creative process from concept to completion, translating outreach objectives into clear creative strategies, ensuring visual communication and brand standards are met, reviewing and troubleshooting creative projects, and executing on all other related outreach tasks.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrate solid knowledge of design and visual principles, possess a portfolio of creative/design/software projects and skills, possess the ability to evaluate choices critically bearing in mind the school’s brand, demonstrate proficiency in communicating design choices clearly, and demonstrate the ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position. An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in art, photography, video production, or graphic design and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience required. This position will require limited travel throughout the state of PA and a valid PA driver’s license.
