Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Pittsburg State University invites applications for the position of Marketing Manager in the office of Creative and Strategic Communications. The Marketing Manager coordinates and lead projects aimed at attracting and retaining students at Pittsburg State University. This includes driving awareness through the creation and deployment of relevant and engaging inbound and outbound content, search marketing and search optimization, multichannel campaign development, consulting with academic departments to enhance program-level recruitment and retention, and working closely with Admission to coordinate priorities, activities, and messaging. The position is also charged administering the University’s institution-level social media accounts, and developing, maintaining, and monitoring tone consistency across the entire Pitt State-branded social media presence. The marketing manager plays a central role in the operations of the university marketing team, working closely with each member to establish and follow through on prioritized, coordinated strategies and projects that drive forward the mission of the institution.
