Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising the accounts receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections, and maintaining positive relationships with patients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and proven experience in medical billing. Extensive knowledge of medical billing processes and regulations is essential to navigate and liaise effectively with various healthcare providers and insurance entities, ensuring compliance and optimizing revenue streams.

Reporting Relationships:

The Accounts Receivable Manager reports directly to the CEO and the CFO.

Job Requirements :

• Manager the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and supervising staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, including monitoring payment activity and following up on outstanding accounts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient accounts, payments, and collections.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
• Manage relationships with insurance companies, third-party payers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment.
• Resolve patient billing inquiries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on accounts receivable status and performance.
• QuickBooks knowledge
• Must be computer literate.
• Basic Accounting Principles
• Must know: Excel, Word, Adobe
• Must be well organized.
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines.

Additional Job Requirements:

• Accounts Payable (Entering Accounts Payable (AP) Invoices, Issuing AP Checks, Review Credit card activity for company credit cards)
• Department of Justice screening (Company to provide instruction on how to complete this requirement)
• Active and Current California State Driver's License
• Must have 3 years' experience in Medical Billing
• Must have 3 years' experience as Accounts Receivable Manager
• Must have greater than 5 years' experience in accounting.

Working Conditions:

• Will be working in an Office setting.

Internal Communication:

• Communicate with related departments to process billing on set deadlines by Company.
• Communicate with all policy/protocol related issues immediately to Human Resources department.
• Communicate any Information and Technology ("IT") issues that would hinder the ability to perform work duties.
• Mandatory attendance at all mandatory company meetings.
• Must be fluent in updated/current policies, adhere to those policies, and ensure that knowledge of these policies is followed.
• Must respond to every communication attempt with internal staff within 24 hours.

Review of Equity:

• Maintain the Assets Binder support when needed

• Attainment of annual goals established by CEO and CFO
• Meet all essential job function requirements as described in the job description.
