Creative Manager is responsible for managing all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Oversees the creation of art, photo, copy, and layout for creative projects. Being a Creative Manager implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and quality goals. Manages and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Additionally, Creative Manager leads the development of creative briefs and utilizes design methodologies that meet the business objectives and timelines of the organization and stakeholders. Evaluates and adopts the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Creative Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Creative Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What you'll do:
    • Maintain alignment between business strategy and creative execution
    • Project management of multi-channel marketing campaigns, materials, merchandise and brand communications
    • Process and workflow optimization
    • Resource planning and prioritization
    • Development of multi-disciplinary project plans
    • Facilitation of project communication from planning through execution
    • Proactive identification and solution-setting to mitigate project risks
    • Third-party vendor management and negotiation for print, merchandise and other marketing materials
    Who you are:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience—3-5 years of Producer or Project Management role, preferably at an agency or an in-house marketing team
    • Experience managing & negotiating with third-party vendors and managing the production for a variety of marketing materials
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred, but not required
    • Experience working with an integrated project planning & management tool preferred, but not required
    • Communicative—you know who needs to know what and when and never leave anyone in the dark
    • Collaborative—you work and play well with others
    • Detailed – you might as well have microscopes for eyes because no small detail goes unnoticed
    • Driven—you’re confident, goal-oriented and take initiative
    • Solution-oriented-you’re a whiz at learning new things and finding the most efficient solution to problems
