Total Wine & More is looking for a Creative Director to join our Marketing Department onsite in Bethesda, MD. As a Creative Director without people leadership responsibilities, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our omni-channel projects. Your primary focus will be to drive the artistic vision, ideation, and concept development across various design types, campaigns and initiatives and will be the steward for the Total Wine & More brand. You will report directly to the VP, Marketing & Promo Operations, Creative and In-Store Displays.
You will:

Creative Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling and unique artistic vision for each project, ensuring it aligns with client objectives and brand identities.

Concept Development: Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with the creative team to generate innovative design concepts, strategies, and ideas.

Artistic Guidance: Provide clear and constructive feedback to designers and other creative professionals to help them refine their work and bring it in line with the overall artistic vision.

Design Direction: Oversee the creative aspects of projects, including graphic design, advertising campaigns, branding, and other creative content, ensuring high quality and consistency.

Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to understand their goals, provide creative insights, and present design concepts effectively.

Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, account managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of creative concepts across all channels including but not limited to; Performance Marketing, Email Marketing, In-Store Signage & Displays, Direct Mail, Grand Openings, etc.

Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design innovations to ensure our creative work remains at the forefront of the industry.

Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of creative excellence, ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.

Budget Management: Contribute to budget planning for creative projects and ensure resources are used efficiently.
You will come with:

10 Years of Experience in Creative Design/Direction. Retail experience is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Retail Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, etc.).

Proven experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or in a similar role within the omnichannel retail industry.

A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful omnichannel creative projects and design work.
- Exceptional artistic and conceptual abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team, cross functionally and with external partners.

Knowledge of omnichannel retail industry trends, design trends, consumer behaviors, and best practices.
