Creative Director provides leadership and direction for all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. Designs and implements policies and standards that reinforce the organization's branding strategy and goals. Being a Creative Director promotes excellence in design thinking and a creative strategy for services, products and programs. Interprets stakeholder requirements to produce effective creative concepts and designs. Additionally, Creative Director recruits and develops a team of designers, copywriters, project managers and vendors. Develops creative briefs and design concepts to meet the business objectives of the organization. Studies current trends and technologies to adopt the most effective tools and techniques across all media. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Creative Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Creative Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and layouts for various projects. Must be able to operate a large format printer (banners, etc.) This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the success of our company.
Duties:
-Create visually stunning graphics, photos and artwork
- Utilize your expertise in visual design, typesetting, and layout design to produce high-quality materials
- Assist with art direction and provide creative input for projects
- Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across different platforms
- Prepare files for print production and collaborate with printers to ensure accurate results
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Knowledge of color theory and its application in design
- Experience with sign manufacturing is a plus
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
- Basic understanding of JavaScript is preferred but not required
Skills:
- Visual design: Ability to create visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the desired message
- Typesetting: Proficiency in arranging text in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Art direction: Ability to provide creative direction and guidance for projects
- Layout design: Skill in arranging elements on a page to create an engaging composition
