Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining boom trucks and heavy equipment to assist customers with various tasks. Our equipment is always well maintained, cleaned, in proper working order, and new. Our boom trucks are Altec models AC40 and AC45, our larger cranes are Grove and Liebherr. We expect our employees to take as much pride in the equipment and the job they perform as we do.

Duties:
- Operate cranes at various job sites throughout NJ, mostly by yourself, but may have a crew some days depending on the job.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist other employees on larger cranes when needed
- Operate forklifts and cranes as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Boom Truck/Crane Operator is a must
- Commercial driving experience needed with a Class B at minimum with over 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in properly setting up and breaking down boom trucks, forklifts, and cranes
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment (greasing, oil changes, light bulb replacement)

Skills:
- Rigging skills for secure load transportation
- Boom truck operation expertise
- Commercial driving skills with the ability to drive a manual transmission
- Heavy equipment operation including forklifts and cranes
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance

- Proper use of rigging

Licenses required:

- CCO or equivalent

- NJ Crane license

- CDL with CLASS B or A with no moving violations in 3 years prior to job

- *A NY crane license, TWIC, Rigger/Signal, OSHA 10 are all a plus, but not mandatory.
