We specialize in design-build and bid-build projects in the following areas of expertise: Concrete paving, earthwork, stormwater infrastructure, structural concrete, utility infrastructure, multi-use trail development, water/wastewater treatment plants, industrial facility repairs & development sitework.

Job Description:

RBE is currently seeking applications for Crane Operators.

• Operate a crane to lift and move various objects and construction materials.
• Move the crane into the correct position and attach secure loads using the correct equipment.
• Ensure all loads are within approved limits.
• Operate machinery on various projects including roadway, highway, and bridge projects.
• Report directly to project superintendent
• Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order.
• Recording time spent operating equipment to ensure accurate job costing.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by RBE and OSHA.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Crane Operator with a valid and current Medical Examination Certificate.
• 3 years of crane operating experience required.
• 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment required.
• 3 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• Must be signatory, or willing to join, the Operating Engineers Local 101 Union.
• OSHA-10 required.
• Must always have high safety awareness.
• Willing & able to travel around the greater Kansas City area to various job site locations.
• Must be able to work efficiently on a team.

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
