Crane Operator operates a crane to lift, move, load, unload, or position heavy materials or equipment. Performs daily safety and performance checks of crane equipment and may perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating or checking fluid levels. Being a Crane Operator communicates via hand or radio signals to receive or convey instructions. Identifies and addresses potential hazards and adheres to all safety protocols. SUMMARY:
This position requires the daily operation of an overhead crane by way of a handheld control device. You will move metal tubing and frames from the Welding Dept. to the Shot Blast Machine to get prepped for the Industrial Painting process. You will also operate the sit down forklift as well.

KNOWLEDGE:
· Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience working in manufacturing and production preferred.
· Experience driving a forklift and using an overhead crane preferred.
· ISO and SAP experience, a plus.
SKILLS:
· Excellent communication and safety skills
· Rigging
· Mechanical understanding
· Experience with shot blast machines
