Additionally, Court Clerk typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Court Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Overview/Purpose of Position:
Clark County Clerk of Courts has an immediate opening for a full-time Court Clerk. Duties include a variety of clerical and record-keeping duties within the court system.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have knowledge of general court procedures, court record keeping office procedures, confidentiality policies, and basic legal terminology. The ideal candidate must have effective verbal and written communication skills, be able to handle cash and various financial transactions, ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality. Applicants must also be proficient in Microsoft Office and be able to type 40 words per minute.
A high school diploma or equivalent with experience in an office setting and automated record keeping required. Two years of recent and relevant employment within the legal system is preferred.
Benefits:
Pay range for this position is $19.94 - $25.29, based on experience and qualifications, plus a competitive benefit package.
