One Subaru of Hayward is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly individual with an engaging personality to join our team Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have current and valid domestic driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
Notifies the body shop when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Follows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization. Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer and that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered and stay updated on new products.
Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Dealership Parts Counterperson: 2 years (Preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
Working in a TEAM environment: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Preferred)
