Cost Estimation Engineer estimates costs for construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other implementation projects based on an analysis of project technical requirements. Collects data and analyzes all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate. Being a Cost Estimation Engineer identifies and quantifies potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Additionally, Cost Estimation Engineer coordinates with project management, engineering, procurement and other project stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cost Estimation Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Overview

    We are looking for a experienced Maintenance person, who is highly motivated, and detail oriented to join our team at a Maintenance Engineer!  This individual performs a variety of maintenance trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, Painting, wall repair, tile work and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program of the resort/hotel.  You will be working closely with different members of our team, so you will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

    Your role:

    • Performs general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
    • Performs general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
    • Makes repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
    • Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and window, carpeting, etc.
    • Performs general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
    • Keeps records as required by company policy and procedures. Maintains logs on completed tasks. Prepares reports as requested by supervisors. Submits all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

    Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school diploma preferred.

    Experience: Basic experience in maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.  Minimal (1) one year hotel experience preferred.

    Licenses or certificates: No licenses required.

    Availability: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

    Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance (specific standards available).

    Note:   The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day.  All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move an employee from their accustomed shift as business demands.
