Being a Cost Estimation Engineer identifies and quantifies potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Additionally, Cost Estimation Engineer coordinates with project management, engineering, procurement and other project stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cost Estimation Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Ceco Door (an ASSA ABLOY company) is growing and to support that growth, we are looking to add an experienced Cost Accountant to our Team. This will be an on-site role based out of our manufacturing facility located in Milan, Tennessee.
We are a global leader in opening access solutions. Our Group focuses on the manufacturing of steel doors and frames within the commercial market. Catering to such industries as hospitality, healthcare, sporting arenas, and educational markets.
What would you do as our Cost Accountant?
This position will be responsible for analyzing plant manufacturing costs, processing journal entries, performing month-end close functions, and preparing various reports as needed to support the operations of Ceco Door, ASSA ABLOY Service Centers, and Security Metal Products. You will work with other departments to ensure accuracy of costs and inventory.
