Collects data and analyzes all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate. Being a Cost Estimation Engineer identifies and quantifies potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Additionally, Cost Estimation Engineer coordinates with project management, engineering, procurement and other project stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. We are looking for a Cost Engineer to join our awesome Global Manufacturing and Sourcing Team to ensure we continue to deliver on our promise of providing world class pizza ovens and accessories. This is a newly created role focused on sourcing the right components and materials for our products at the right price from our global suppliers. By using your knowledge of the manufacturing and Engineering processes, you'll be able to expertly estimate our costs and identify opportunities for both savings and process improvements along the way.
The role will be based at our Ooni Park office in Broxburn where you'll be expected to work from at least 3 days per week. You'll report into our Head of Global Sourcing and work closely with both our Manufacturing & Sourcing and Product teams.
