Cost Estimation Engineer estimates costs for construction, engineering, manufacturing, or other implementation projects based on an analysis of project technical requirements. Collects data and analyzes all project costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment and tooling to ensure estimates are accurate. Being a Cost Estimation Engineer identifies and quantifies potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs. Updates costs as necessary based on new information and project scope changes. Additionally, Cost Estimation Engineer coordinates with project management, engineering, procurement and other project stakeholders. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Cost Estimation Engineer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Low Cost Animal Medical Center is a busy 501c3 non profit clinic that provides full service and quality veterinary care to the pets of greater New Orleans. We are looking to add a full time assistant to our team.
Duties include maintaining hospital cleanliness (sweeping, mopping, laundry, stocking, cleaning surgical instruments) animal handling and restraint, client communication, documenting medical notes and performing basic nursing skills (such as taking vitals, trimming nails etc.)
Our ideal candidate is a team player who is good at multi tasking and working in fast paced environments. We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays. Working Saturdays is a requirement. No previous experience is required, but previous work with animals is a plus. We will thoroughly train the right candidate!
