Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cost Analyst for company-wide cost reduction. The Cost Analyst will assist the company by controlling costs through research, analysis, and discovering alternatives to components and manufacturing processes associated with our products. In this position, duties include analyzing the engineering bill of materials to discover the difference between actual costs and standard costs associated with manufacturing. Timelines and deliverables will often be self-determined while relying on other team members for information and data. Collaboration with one or more departments and personnel is required including Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. The primary goal is to determine how to lower costs for the company.
