Cost Accountant/Analyst
Our well-established client is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst for their finance team! This full-time, direct-hire role is perfect for a strong communicator with at least 3 years of experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant/Analyst

• Plan, design, develop, and launch cost-efficient business, financial, and operations support initiatives
• Collaborate and work with stakeholders
• Gather and analyze financial data and generate reports
• Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential issues; develop and document best practices as needed
• Perform cost-benefit and return-on-investment analysis for proposed projects to aid management in making implementation decisions
• Review production jobs to ensure accurate estimates translate effectively within technology, mechanical, and staffing capabilities
• Travel as required between NH and NJ sites (10-15%)

Qualifications of the Cost Accountant/Analyst

• College degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience; industry experience in manufacturing preferred
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite
• Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information effectively with all levels of business
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products, and anticipate potential scenarios based on historical data
• Ability to understand the lifecycle of an order and its job bag
• Ability to understand financial statements and correlation to operations
• Fluent in Spanish a plus
