Overview

The Cost Accounting Clerk is responsible to process information relating to cost of product and verification thereof.

Primary Responsibilities

• Set up new products in the system
• Match purchase order to receiver and verify accuracy
• Check and verify accuracy of computerized receiver
• Assemble receiver package which includes receiving report, supplier invoices and freight bills
• Scan Receiver Packages to SAP
• Maintain logs and records relating to overseas containers
• Maintain proper documentation for preparation of monthly State Beverage Tax, work closely with Office Manager in preparation of this report
• Research price and quantity blocks on the supplier invoices and freight bills
• Help BSG determine missing or wrong information needed to process invoice
• Perform other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 years of experience
• Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets in creating pivot tables, develop charts, and complex formulas

Physical Demands

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
