Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for Accounting?   Timpte is looking for a Cost Accounting Manager for our David City, NE Facility.  We’re looking for an experienced candidate that is responsible for managing the Cost Accounting staff and costing activities related to our Manufacturing Operations and CSC locations. 

Job Responsibilities:

•    Primary responsibilities include:

• Manage costing activities to ensure accurate and consistent costing practices across all Timpte locations, including the development and implementation of standardized costing procedures.
• Monitor the accuracy of product standards on a regular basis to minimize Manufacturing variances resulting from inaccurate costs and update standards as required to reflect changes in Manufacturing practices.
• Lead the effort to ensure the timely and accurate updating of standard costs as part of the annual budget process.

•    Active participant in the new EPICOR implementation to improve and develop our costing methods and accuracy across various revenue streams.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:

•    Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting field and 5-7 years of comparable experience in Accounting.

•    Must have previous Managerial experience.

•    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as presentation skills.

•    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Access, etc.

•    Must be able to multi-task, and coordinate efforts of multi-person team.

•    Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
