Collaborating closely with manufacturing site leaders, this role focuses on optimizing plant budgets, enhancing financial controls, and providing crucial support in financial decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Financial Coordination: Collaborate with production and inventory control teams to ensure accurate cost accounting practices are maintained.ERP Management: Execute necessary adjustments within the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to reflect accurate financial data.Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee the compilation of cost, labor, and inventory components for financial statements, monthly account reviews, and reconciliations.Financial Project Leadership: Take charge of financial projects in collaboration with other departments and executives, demonstrating leadership and analytical prowess.Operational Reporting: Prepare various monthly operating reports for management, offering valuable insights to support informed decision-making.Budgeting Support: Contribute to the development and completion of company budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Variance Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of general ledger account variances, providing actionable insights to operations management.Capital Project Tracking: Monitor spending on capital projects, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and strategic objectives.ERP Expertise: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in ERP systems, leveraging expertise to streamline financial processes and optimize system functionality.Month-End Reporting: Prepare comprehensive month-end analysis and reports for the Executive team, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.Ad Hoc Duties: Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the finance department.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field.At least one year of experience managing financial projects or programs.Knowledge and Skills:Proficient understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently.Strong proficiency in Excel, including vlookup and pivot tables.Mid-level proficiency in ERP systems.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience in inventory and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
