You will manage, coordinate, and assist in the development and maintenance of product costs, the analysis of operational variances, and the generation and distribution of production metric reporting at our client’s facility. This Cost Accountant role reports directly to the Controller (FPP).

To give you an idea of how this Cost Accounting position will look and feel, here are some areas you can expect to work in:

· Maintain check methods to confirm transaction entry to the MRP system

· Maintain Daily financial reports

· Analyze DL/IDL variances on a daily basis

· Perform scrap analysis

· Lead with the development of product costs for budget

You will need a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College-level program, to apply for this Cost Accountant role. Additional qualifications include:

· At least one year of experience in a costing or inventory control setting

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs

· Understanding of expectations detailed through Organization Statements, Standards, Visions, Policies and Procedures

· At least 1 year of experience in a costing or inventory control setting, with preference given to those who have 3-5 years of experience

. Must have SAP experience
