Cost Accountant jobs in Grand Island, NE

We are a rapidly expanding Real Estate Development, Holding and Management Company. Innate Concepts builds urban style living in our communities. Our company currently has developments in Kearney (LiveElement30.com), Norfolk (LiveLegacyBend.com), Grand Island (LiveLegacy34.com and TalonApartments.com) and Lexington (PrairieHeightsApartment.com).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Chief Development Officer and Chief Construction Officer to prepare project bids and receive bids from subcontractors
• Input invoices into continuation sheets and monitor progress billing
• Maintain construction financial data and reporting
• Maintain log for subcontractor W9s and COI
• Additional duties as requested

Qualifications:

• Work authorization (Required)
• 2-year degree in accounting, finance, business, or equivalent work experience (Required)
• Additional 2 years of experience in construction accounting (Required): Experience receiving and reconciliation of AIA forms and Experience with a) Request for Proposal / Bid Invites, b) Sorting Bids, c) Bid Leveling
• Computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products
• Exceptional communication skills
• Flexibility in working with a rapidly changing environment

Schedule:

• 40 hours weekly
• No lifting requirement
• Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
