Cost Accountant jobs in Farmington, NM

GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Cost Estimator to join our team. This position is full-time and will support the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of relevant experience.

• Performs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for projects or proposals.
• Coordinates task execution with other Project Controls staff.
• Performs data analysis identifying problems and makes recommendations.
• Performs control activities for project and/or proposal efforts.
• Performs historical data analysis and maintains historical databases.
• Supports estimate reporting and reviews.
• Provides technical direction to assigned personnel when delegated.
• Supports training activities, as needed.
• Executes simultaneous tasks within broadly defined parameters.

• To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
• Due to the federal nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.

The NNSA's Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), located in Los Alamos, New Mexico, is a design laboratory responsible for the safety and reliability of the nuclear explosives package in nuclear weapons.
