Cost Accountant jobs in Eden Prairie, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

1. Analyze job orders and complete periodic reports to identify variances and opportunities for cost controls
2. Report key performance indicators (KPI’s) to drive improvements and meet company objectives
3. Lead inventory programs and reconciliations
4. Lead the cost accounting processes and initiatives and act as a primary liaison to the Operations teams to address and resolve issues on a timely basis to meet the Company’s objectives
5. Perform month end processes and assist with financial presentations
6. Assist in the development of forecasts, annual budgets and cost rates
7. Assist in cost improvement programs
8. Support the Finance department in external reporting requirements
9. Assist in the development of accounting and financial policies and procedures to ensure the efficient financial operations of the organization and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and financial standards
10. Participate in special projects as required
