- Collecting and analyzing data about company’s operational costs
- Preparing, calculating, and setting standard costs of manufactured goods
- Updates new parts for bill of materials, routers, and overhead rates monthly
- Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and forecasts on a monthly and annual basis
- Assess inventory control measures and develops measures to improve inventory accuracy in conjunction with Logistics and Operations
- Ensure proper shop order, sample order, scrap reporting and analysis
- Create ad hoc reports, analysis and special projects as required by management
- Prepare variance analysis for inventory, manufacturing cost and standard cost variances
- Assist with development, preparation, and distribution of KPI metrics
- Prepare month-end journal entries and other closing activities
- Prepare account reconciliations as assigned
- Work with manufacturing to conduct physical inventory audits, investigating variances as they arise and adjusting inventories as necessary
- Performs monthly inventory valuation and reconciliation of cost ledgers.
- Process CAPEX requests, tracking spend and capitalize asset as required.
- Prepares and monitors operating forecasts based on budgets. Review significant variations and analyze operating impact.
