The Position

Correctional Officers maintain and supervise offenders in State correctional facilities in a controlled humane environment. This position may be at a Maximum-Security Prison.

Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation.

Correctional Officers maintain and supervise inmates in state Correctional facilities in a controlled humane environment. This position will be at a Maximum-Security Prison. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation. This recruitment will be used to fill positions in ELY, Nevada.
