Position Description
As the Director of Integrated Communications reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of creative individuals and overseeing the development and execution of integrated communication strategies for our clients. You will drive effective communication campaigns across multiple channels and ensure seamless integration of various communication disciplines. Your expertise in public relations, marketing, branding, digital media, and advertising will be essential to deliver comprehensive and impactful communication solutions. You will serve as a leader, mentor, and advocate for a diverse and dedicated team of client services professionals. As a management team member, you will be a strategic partner to drive outstanding operational planning, innovation, and business development.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement integrated communication strategies aligned with clients' goals and objectives. Identify target audiences, key messages, and appropriate communication channels.
2. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their business needs. Collaborate closely with clients to provide strategic counsel and ensure effective communication solutions.
3. Team Leadership: Lead a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
4. Campaign Development: Oversee the development and execution of integrated communication campaigns across various channels, including public relations, social media, digital marketing, advertising, and events. Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.
5. Digital and Social Media: Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and leverage various digital platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Develop and implement social media strategies to drive audience growth and improve online presence.
6. Measurement and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication campaigns. Provide regular reporting and analysis to clients, highlighting results and making recommendations for improvement.
7. Budget and Expense Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, adherence to financial targets, and return on investment (ROI) to achieve the goals and objectives of Octane’s strategic plan.
8. Business Development: Drive new and expand current business development initiatives by identifying and evaluating new opportunities for growth, developing pitches and proposals, and expanding the company's customer base.
