Account Manager Position overview:
Account Managers in the Personal Lines Department are tasked with maintaining the primary relationship and being a point of contact with our clients once an account is established. They are experienced, knowledgeable insurance professionals who assist our clients in maintaining a current personal insurance program. In order to pro-actively and re-actively service our accounts, they must have exemplary communication skills and be inquisitive in nature to uncover exposures for our clients. Account Managers process changes, conduct account reviews, take first claim reports, solve issues as appropriate and advise the clients on how best to protect their assets. They are expected to round accounts and cross-sell business with both our Commercial and Financial Services departments to assist in expanding our relationship with our existing clients. In advising our clients, they must educate whenever possible on the benefits of carrying sufficient limits for their homes, automobiles, valuables and other assets to adequately protect them from physical loss. Additionally, education on liability exposures is vital to protecting those assets and stabilizes their financial security.
