Corporate Giving Manager jobs in New Mexico

Corporate Giving Manager identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and develops strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Manager manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops and launches employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Additionally, Corporate Giving Manager maintains current knowledge of best practices in corporate giving and philanthropy. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Corporate Giving Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Corporate Giving Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description:

    • Learn and master check-in/check-out procedures.
    • Assist with guest registration and resolve guest inquiries or issues.
    • Ensure efficient room assignment and coordinate room reservations.
    • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
    • Supervise room inspections to ensure high-quality standards are met.
    • Assist in managing the housekeeping schedule and staffing.
    • Assist in managing the restaurant, bar, or catering services.
    • Gain experience in menu planning, pricing, and inventory management.
    • Learn about food safety and hygiene regulations.
    • Develop excellent customer service skills.
    • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and proactively.
    • Strive to enhance the overall guest experience.
    • Participate in budgeting and cost control activities.
    • Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and financial reports.
    • Assist with the procurement and  inventory management processes.
    • Help in training and mentoring hotel staff.
    • Assist in conducting  performance evaluations and providing feedback.
    • Learn about human resource policies and procedures.
    • Ensure adherence to safety and  security protocols.
    • Assist with emergency response procedures and training.
    • Participate in marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
    • Learn about sales strategy and revenue optimization techniques.
    • Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting.
    • Support the General Manager in daily operations.

    Requirements

    • Specifically with comfort with potential employee interview, hire, termination, coaching and basic customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of phone, email, HRIS, Google, LinkedIn Recruiter and meeting platform skills preferred but not required.
    • Professionalism, organization, and project and people management skills ideal.
    • Minimum two (2) years experience in recruitment or related area with familiarity in employment law.
