Corporate Giving Director identifies and assesses the causes and organizations that align with the company's values and goals and implements strategic plans to support them. Establishes and maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations and community leaders to ensure effective collaboration and support of giving initiatives. Being a Corporate Giving Director manages the budget for charitable giving, evaluates grant proposals, and monitors the impact of the company's charitable contributions. Develops employee volunteer programs to engage employees, offer participation to wider audience, and raise awareness about the organization's charitable initiatives. Foothills Animal Shelter seeks a director of leadership giving who is committed to advancing the mission and vision of Foothills Animal Shelter and excited to engage in the transformative work of animal welfare. This will be a one-half to three-quarters time position working 20-30 hours per week.

We identify as a socially conscious shelter, caring for more than 9,000 dogs, cats, and small animals every year with a compassionate team of staff and volunteers who are committed to the physical and emotional wellbeing of every pet we serve. We employ 75 staff, are supported by 300 volunteers, and have a $6.6 million operating budget for 2024.
