Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist supports and coordinates the activities of the organization's global ethics and compliance function. Assists with the delivery and maintenance of programs to assess and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks and establish high ethical standards of conduct for the organization. Being an Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist prepares materials that communicate the organization's ethical standards, policies, and regulations. Supports or delivers employee training programs that raise awareness about ethics-related topics such as Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Antitrust, Conflicts of Interest, and others. Additionally, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist generates reports of compliance monitoring statistics, investigations, outcomes, and remediations of any non-compliant actions. May administer reporting systems or helplines for employees, customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to disclose violations of the organization's ethical standards, violations of law, or policies without fear of retaliation. May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Corporate Ethics & Compliance Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. CORPORATE PAYROLL SPECIALIST

  • Summary:

    Responsible for performing the administrative duties necessary to coordinate accurate, timely payment of payroll to all team members of Golden Entertainment properties.


    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain time and attendance records throughout the properties, providing reports to all departments, for review, on a regular basis
    • Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
    • Post information pertaining to hours worked, deductions, paid time off, benefits, gratuities and direst deposits, into the computer in a timely, accurate manner
    • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data produced in Payroll, including reports
    • Maintain accurate records of all wage garnishments and child support orders
    • Cooperate with the Internal Revenue Service and state agencies, providing detailed payroll information, as requested
    • Handle limited banking functions pertaining to Payroll, and resolve any discrepancies in the General Ledger
    • Conduct the necessary research to effectively resolve payroll disputes from team members
    • Prepare and issue paychecks, replace lost and/or stolen checks, and ensure accurate information for direct deposits
    • Calculate and verify payroll adjustments
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
    • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Minimum one year previous experience performing same or similar duties
    • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, math and computer skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and to respond to common inquiries or complaints/questions/concerns from team members or regulatory agencies
    • Proven experience providing high level of guest service
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
    • At least 21 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
    • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
    • Verify right to work in the United States
