Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare is responsible for programs, policies, and practices that ensure that all departments are in compliance with JCAHO, HIPAA, and accreditation standards. Monitors compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Being a Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare stays abreast of laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and procedures. Prepares compliance reports to present to senior management. Additionally, Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. To be a Corporate Compliance Officer - Healthcare typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Court Compliance Officer

  • Under general supervision, performs case management, tracks and monitors offender's compliance of court orders, which have been adjudicated of misdemeanor and felony crimes; and performs other related duties as assigned

    • Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Counseling, or related field;
    • Two years of experience in counseling in the judiciary, criminal justice, or other human services discipline that involves tracking and monitoring offender compliance, case management, conducting client appointments and substance abuse testing, and documenting and maintaining files; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Required Licenses or Certifications:
    • Valid New Mexico Driver’s License
    • Completion of Interstate Compact Training (ICT) within six months of hire
    • Completion of National Crime Information Center (NCIC) certification training within six months of hire
    • Completion of Court Officer Basic Training (COBT)  within one year of hire
    • Completion of Mental Health First Aid Training (MHFAT)  within one year of hire
    • Completion of Court Officer Advanced Training (COAT)  within two years of hire
    • Other licenses and certifications as required within a specified time period after hire
    • Per Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) guidelines, must obtain a minimum of 16 CEU’s per year in training that is in the related field of criminal justice.
    Additional Requirements:
    • Must pass an FBI (III) background check
    • This position is subject to random alcohol and drug testing in accordance with Sandoval County Personnel rules and Regulations Article XIII Drug and Alcohol Policy and Testing-Drug Free Workplace. 
    • Conducts daily client probation appointments, which includes urinalysis and breathalyzer testing, updating telephone and address changes; advises clients of upcoming deadlines; monitors compliance with treatment; receives payments; makes probation progress notes; and schedules monthly probation appointments.
    • Completes a variety of paperwork and reports including positive urinalysis reports, notice of court appearance, completion of community service ignition interlock reports, treatment compliance and noncompliance, certificates of completion such as DWI school, Victims Impact Panel, completion of community service, donations, restitution, and requesting court documents.
    • Makes weekly court appearances and provides testimony of violations and clients progress in the program and presents oral and written recommendations.
    • Communicates daily with the public, law enforcement, ADA’s office, and outside treatment agencies to respond to inquiries and questions and provide information via telephone, voice message, e-mail and written correspondence; attends a variety of meetings including staff meetings, committee meetings and other special meetings to exchange information, network, and discuss relevant issues and concerns; attends training sessions to maintain knowledge and skills related to work performed.
    • Maintains current knowledge of and compliance with all 121 Accreditation Standards for the Adult Misdemeanor Compliance Program.
    • Files Non-compliance and/or Probation Violations as needed to keep offenders in compliance.
    • Enters all pertinent information into ADE and Caseload Pro databases including all notes in an accurate and timely manner.
    • Travels to various locations within Sandoval County including tribal courts, Bernalillo Magistrate Court, Rio Rancho Municipal Court and Cuba Magistrate Court. 
    • Tracks felony offenders for Adult Probation and Parole Office.
    • Attends quarterly Ad Hoc Compliance Meetings in various locations in New Mexico.
    • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
